It’s a brand new year and we’re excited to get back into the swing of things! We’ve got quite of a lot of things to catch up on and we are looking forward to share those adventures with you soon but- before we start, we wanted to give our sincerest thanks for following our journey through 2018!
BYE, BYE VIADUCT / TRIP TO GENERAL PORPOISE
Last weekend, we said goodbye to the Seattle Viaduct that is being torn down due to structural issues. This teardown was part of the effort to revitalize the historic Seattle waterfront. It was definitely an interesting experience to see people gather to a site and share some memories they’d created growing up around a piece of the city.
While we were in the area, we stopped by General Porpoise - Pioneer Square for quick brunch treat. We absolutely loved the space, filled with natural light and beautiful marble tables. The best part? The ceiling is illuminated by a herd of Jeffry Mitchell Elephant lanterns!
How gushy and decadent is that chocolate marshmallow donut? These donuts are made fresh with classic flavors such as lemon curd, vanilla custard but also comes with some pretty fun flavors such as peanut butter and jelly, date shake, rose cream.
Is there a better time to debut our new shirt from SpaceDonut? We have had the pleasure to see this artwork go from concept to full blown illustration and we are so proud to support a local family owned company. Inspired by vintage manga, the Tabetai! tee comes in two different colors and is printed beautifully on super soft polycotton blend material.
